“Neo-Eco Ukraine is starting to work on the restoration of damaged buildings and structures because the total area of destruction caused to the Mykolaiv Oblast by shelling during the full-scale invasion is approximately 650 thousand square meters,” said Kyrylo Chernyshuk, Country Director of Neo-Eco Ukraine.
During our visit with our colleagues from Mission East, Secretary General, Betina Gollander-Jensen, and Project Director Maj Forum , we discussed future actions, talked to the Head of the #Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Mr. #VitaliyKim, met local community representatives and saw with our own eyes the disastrous consequences of the constant shelling of #Mykolaiv and its surrounding region.
Our presence will ensure that the community and local authorities in #Mykolaiv Oblast receive the support they need.
Neo-Eco Ukraine’s local project manager Olga Petriuk added, “We are strengthening our team in Mykolaiv to respond to the needs of local communities and to propose an environmentally friendly approach to reconstructing rural settlements in the #Mykolaiv Oblast.”
